How do you tell the difference between Gold jewelry and Copper Jewelry?
i have these jewelry that look like gold that i want to sell i dont know if its real gold or just plain polished copper how do i tell?

copper should have a bronze color to it, gold will have a gold color to it. or you can go to a jeweler and ask them, they usually should do it for free...and no offense, but who the heck wears copper jewelry?

copper is very hard,and gold is soft,and they are diffant color!
the easiest way to get find out is to take them to a jeweler and find out. they dont normally charge for an appraisel. but simply guessing and then selling something that isnt, is not a good idea. again go to a professional
